Roles and Objectives
The role of Drilling and Dam Construction Agency (DDCA) is to develop sustainable and safe water sources through efficient means and at cost effective price. For DDCA to achieve its goals and objectives, the Internal Audit Division is in place with a purpose of evaluating and contributing to the improvement of governance, risk management, and control processes using a systematic and disciplined approach.
The prime objective of the Internal Audit section is to examine and evaluate whether the DDCA’s frame work of risk management, control, and governance processes, is adequate and functioning properly.
In addition, the objectives of audit section include advising and recommending to senior management for improvements in internal control and risk management systems.
The personnel of Internal Audit section report to the Chief of audit section, who then reports administratively to the Managing Director and functionally to the Audit Committee.
